  Delightful place for a relaxing lunch. A spacious and beautifully decorated restaurant with a warm Mediterranean decor... using stone, wood an textiles to create a comforting atmosphere.
  Tables are nicely appointed and generously spaced so as not to feel crowded.
  Wait staff is attentive but not overly so. You never feel rushed here.
  Prices are moderate.
  The seafood is very fresh... not frozen. Importantly, fish fillets are not overly done.
  Estia is an easy pick to return to with family and friends.

  Came for restaurant week for the lamb chops and have to say was pretty disappointed about the experience.
  
  Favorite thing of the night: THE SANGRIA.
  Disappointing thing: how bare bones everything was. Mussels came with no toast or side bread. Literally mussels with red sauce in a bowl with all the cheese in the middle of one mussel. Spanakopita - 1 pie slice on the side of a barren plate. Branzino - just one huge fish (not entirely deboned btw!!) and no veggies or sauce or anything. At least the Lamb chops came with a side of potatoes.
  
  Service and ambience were good but for how excited I was to go there for RW, I was pretty let down. Regular things looked pretty overpriced (would you pay $47 for 3 lamb chops?? I'd go to Amada instead please). Also they're owned by the same people as Pietro's so the bread basket was the same :)

  My boyfriend and I came for restaurant week. We were seated right away even though we arrived early which was nice.
  
  Our table was unfortunately under the AC vent and our waiter made sure we were okay with it. He even offered me hot tea for free after awhile of me being a little chilled. I appreciated it more than he knew (I had been sick earlier that week) and it really did warm me up.
  
  We got some white wine which was delicious and had the $35 a person deal. Spanakopita and mussels were both great. We each had the lamb chop meal and I was happy with my choice! Super yummy. We got the two desserts that were offered and both were amazing.
  
  Service was awesome and so was food. I don't know if I would come back unless there was some sort of deal as it is pricey, but the ambiance was super nice for an upscale date night!

  I dined here for a private dinner held by an organization after years in the city hearing about Estia but never actually going. I'm so glad I finally did! The location is prime, just off of Broad Street. I was very impressed by the ambiance, beautiful decor, and overall elegance of the restaurant. Great attentive service for the private dinner. I loved the food, which included a buffet (YES) of chicken kabobs, lamb, salad, ziti, risotto, and more. Everything was very well done and delicious! The room was large and well-suited for the group as well. I'm dining here again tonight for a work dinner... can't wait!

  We started dinner by indulging in Dolmades, Estia Chips, Cheese Saganaki, and 2 orders of Octopodi. All were absolutely amazing. Octopus thrown in a washing machine is always the best octopus;) It's not just a joke...This is hands down the best octopus I've ever had. Try it and tell me otherwise . For dinner I had the seafood tower, which included lobster, king crab, blue crab meat, shrimp cocktail, oysters, clams. My wife got the sea bass (amazing), our friends got lobster pasta and Dover Sole (fish). Actually the Patagonian Toothfish was incredibly delicious compared to the Dover Sole. The service and ambiance was great. If your visiting Philly and would like a wonderful dinner, this is one of my top 5 restaurants.
